Would you accept specific services from construction professionals that would compliment your loan departments in verifying project costs, construction schedules, cash flow analyst based on schedule, draw requests, and cost of change orders?
I would like input from architects on the issues they have with the different delivery systems (single contract w/general contractor, multiple contracts w/ construction manager) used in the commercial construction industry today. What type of problems have you experienced and what can be done to address the issue? What type of outside support services would you like available to design professionals (preliminary & final project costs, pay request verification, construction scheduling, etc.)?
